Abstract
Zeugma, an important rhetoric case is introduced here. Based on the analysis of model sentences, this paper intends to demonstrate the main forms of Zeugma and their most striking features, explore its rhetorical effect in literary works, and make clear the differences between Zeugma and some other rhetorical devices.
