Abstract
[Objectives] To explore the cause and significance of the changes of Creatine Kinase and Troponin I in patients with acute tetramine poisoning.[Methods] We determined serum Creatine Kinase and Troponin I of 48 patients with acute tetramine poisoning and contrasted with control group who have epilepsia and acute myocardial infarction(AMI).[Result] There is no significant difference in the changes of Creatine Kinase between patients with poisoning and those with epilepsia(P 0.05);while significant difference is found in the changes of Troponin I between patients with poisoning and those with AMI(P 0.01).[Conclusion] The evaluation of myocardial enzyme in patients with acute tetramine poisoning may be caused by skeletal muscle injury, not by direct myocardium injury.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
