Abstract
Motivated by the concurrent debugging and real-time debugging in a multi-core processor (YHFT-QDSP), a debug system which supports multi-core debugging and real-time on-chip tracing is developed based on the one-core debug system. Multi-core debugging supports debug command broadcasting and breakpoint trigger synchronization. On-chip tracing records program execution information such as path and data accesses by special hardware for non-intrusive debugging. The mechanism, structure and realization of the system are introduced in this paper.
