Abstract
To investigate the prevalence of Brucella in Xinjiang, serum samples collected from 3 dairy farms were tested by serum agglutination test(SAT) for the detection of infected antibodies to Brucellosis. Two isolated strains which identified by VirB8-PCR were got from milk samples of positive cow by using serum agglutination test(SAT) of a cattle farm in Urumqi region. The results indicated that the isolated strains were Brucella. In addition to the AMOS-PCR assays, isolated strains of Brucella specifically were identified for B.abortus.Furthermore,it differentiated B.abortus biovars 3b,5,6 and 9.
