Clinical Analysis on the Treatment of Infected Femoral Artery Pseudoaneurysm by Artificial Vascular Graft

[Objective] To evaluate surgical management of infected femoral pseudoaneurysm.[Methods]11 cases underwent operative treatment including removing of infected femoral pesudoaneurysm,exhaustive debridement and e-PTFE graft.4 cases among them underwent original graft,and 7 cases underweng bypass graft(end-to-side).[Results]The limbs of all the patients were salvaged successfully.1 case after undergoing saphenous vein autotransplant in situ presented anastomotic burst and bleeding and was successfully treated again by e-PTFE graft.All of the patients were followed up from 3 to 24 months,and all of the grafted vessels were patent.[Conclusion]The operative treatment of removing of infected femoral pesudoaneurysm,exhaustive debridement and e-PTFE graft is an effective procedure for managing infected femoral pseudoaneurysm.
