Abstract

strains of Metarhizium anisopliae(Metsch.) Sorokin infected Pantana phyllostachysae Chao in laboratory,and all showed pathogenicity to 2nd~3rd instar larvae of P.phyllostachysae.Of 3 strains,M 3 caused the greatest mortality,with M 1 and M 2 next to it.The LC 50 of M 3 was 7 55×10 6 spores· L -1 ,and the LT 50 was 5 88~10 50 days for the concentration of 1 0×10 11 ~1 0×10 7 spores·L -1 The LC 50 of M 1 and M 2 were 3 12×10 7 spores·L -1 ,7 01×10 7 spores· L -1 ,and the LT 50 were 6 50~11 65 days,7 66~11 53 days respectively The experiment of conidial germination was carried out at different temperature and in different humidity,and showed greater resistance to high temperature and drought The laboratory test indicated that M anisopliae was of greater value in controlling P phyllostachysae
