Abstract
elements-- materials, pattern, color, design, style and technics in Chinese traditional costume are analyzed; the development of Chinese elements in history is expatiated. It is pointed that: by the succession and innovation on Chinese traditional costume and combination with other nationalities' costume, the costume with Chinese elements must more and more be shown on the West stages, and the costume full of Chinese spirits will bring up Chinese costume masters generation after-generation.
