Outline of research on development of rural-based science and technology and construction of harmonious rural areas

Construction of harmonious rural areas is to realize the ideal of the harmonious society in the countryside.Realization of harmonious rural areas must be based on all-round development of rural economy,society and culture.Such development has to be supported by rural-based science and technology.Therefore,we must pay attention to and emphasize development of rural-based science and technology and make efforts to improve farmers' quality of science and culture and cultivate scientific talents in rural areas.In construction of harmonious rural areas,it is necessary to develop agricultural science,modernize agriculture,and give full play to other science,such as social science,in political,cultural and environmental construction in rural areas.The real and essential orientation of construction of harmonious rural areas is to develop post-modern agriculture.
