Three Approaches to Civil Charity in Modern China—In the Case of Civil Charity Organization,Charity Project And Voluntary Activity in Shanghai

Firstly, the paper specifies the two functions of charity: relieving poverty and supporting development. Secondly, it analyzes the properties and functions of charity organization. Thirdly, it describes and compares approaches, effects and problems among three civil charity activities according to some cases. Then, it puts forward some policies and proposals of fostering the development of civil charity activities.
