Abstract

Objective To study the results of percutaneous vertebroplasty in treating Kummerll disease with pure intraosseous cystic cavitary.Methods Summer pain relief of 12 patients with pure intraosseous cystic cavitary underwent PVP,the patients were examined after surgery to as VAS of the pain.Results All cases were successful,none of them 11 had asymptomatic.12 patients pain relieve in 8h after surgion.The time of follow-up was 6-36 months,the mean follow-up was 20 months.According to VAS,the fineness rate of operation after 3d was 85.5%.the scores had dropped from average 7.5 to 1.0 preoperation and postoperation.Conclusion The percutaneous vertebroplasty(PVP) provides satisfactory results to Kummerll disease with pure intraosseous cystic cavitary and has eficiency to relief patient's back pain.
