Abstract

Biomass is the most abundant renewable resource in the world.Using the biomass-pyrolysis technique,which is a new type of biomass-energy utilization,the low energy density in biomass could be converted into the products with high energy density,and many chemicals would be obtained also.The recent progress in biomass-pyrolysis techology at home and abroad,the pyrolysis mechanism of the main element of biomass were investigated,respectively.Furthermore,the problems to be solved in pyrolysis and the research direction in these respects were proposed also.
