Abstract

The dye-sensitized solar cell(DSSC)is a new-style solar cell In this paper, the structure and the principles of the solar cell are introduced briefly.Electrolytes are divided into three types of liquid electrolyte,sol-gel (quasi-solid)electrolyte and solid electrolyte. The research progress, their advantage and disadvantage are discussed, respectively. The prospect of the DSSC is predicted.
