Application of Chinese Characters in Modern Signs

Abstract

The origin of the Chinese signs can not be separated from the auspicious cultural history of the Chinese nation.Early in the Northern Song Dynasty,the Chinese poster design was already comparatively perfect.The Chinese characters can make the signs have the characteristics of pictography and consciousness.Therefore the poster design written with artistic characters or Chinese calligraphy will reflect the beauty of pen usage,structure and artistic conception.
