Abstract

Objective:To explore the diagnostic value of muti-tumor markers protein biochip system in colorectal cancer. Methods:The serum concentrations of 12 tumor markers(CA199,NSE,CEA,CA242,Ferrtin,β-HCG,AFP,f-PSA,PSA,CA125,HGH,and CA153) in 200 patients with colorectal cancer and 100 patients with benign colorectal lesions were detected and analyzed by C12 multi-tumor markers protein chip diagnosis system. Results:The expression levels and positive rates of the serum tumor markers, such as CEA,CA19-9,CA242,and CA125 in patients with colorectal cancer were significantly higher than those respectively in patients with benign colorectal lesions(all P0.05).The expression level of serum CA242 in patients with colon cancer was significantly higher than that in patients with rectal cancer(P0.05),but the positive rate had no statistical significance(P0.05).The expression levels and positive rates of serum CEA,CA19-9,CA242,and CA125 in staging Ⅲ and Ⅳ colorectal cancer patients were significantly higher than in staging Ⅰ and Ⅱ patients respectively(all P0.05).The sensitivity, accuracy, and diagnosis index of combined detection of CEA,CA19-9,CA242,and CA125 were higher than those of single detection respectively(all P0.05),while no statistical significance was found between the specificity of single detection and the specificity of combined detection(P0.05).Conclusion:The detection of serum tumor markers had positive value in the diagnosis of colorectal cancer.Combined detection could improve the diagnostic sensitivity and accuracy significantly and the combined detection of CEA,CA19-9,and CA242 is the most beneficial combination among the 12 markers in the diagnosis of colorectal cancer.
