Deng Xiao-ping has made enormous historical contribution to Tibet's peaceful liberation and stability and development.He took the initiative and received the great strategic assignment for the marching into and managing Tibet.He studied Tibetan conditions conscientiously and was in charge of planning and preparing the four guiding principles of tactics for the peaceful liberation of Tibet.Afterwards,he chaired the drafting of ten policies prepared for the peaceful negotiations with the local government of Tibet.He urged a talk by fighting to liberate Qamdo,strived for sending peaceful negotiation representatives out by the local government of Tibet,and implemented the seventeen-article agreement.He guided the troops and staff members marching into Tibet to carry out the agriculture production and showed solicitude all his life for the Tibet's overall situation stability and felt concerned about the Tibet's economical and social development in an all-round way.Along with the important thoughts of Marxist ethnology of China residing in these enormous historic contributions,he displayed erudite breadth of mind and foresight and sagacity and lofty graceful manner of a time giant,and left us a precious spiritual wealth administering and vitalizing Tibet.
