Study on Relevance Between Air Transportation Industry and China′s Economy

The input-output model to measure the relevance between air transportation industry and China′s economy is employed.Basing on intermediate use part of 2002 input-output table,it calculates direct input coefficients,total input coefficients,direct distribution coefficient of all industries,and influence coefficients and reaction coefficients of air transportation industry.Comparing them with those of other important industries,this paper concludes the relative position of air transportation industry in the whole economy and its influence and reaction to other industries.
