Abstract

According to the unique characteristics of multi-ribbed slab structures, the invisible outside frames of the structure were taken as a number of spacial beam elements, the multi-ribbed composite walls were treated as equivalent oblique struts, and the upper structure was simplified as the model of rigid frame with diagonal structure.Using the finite element software, the entire model of soil-structure interaction was established to analyze the interaction under lateral load. The results show that: the model of rigid frame with diagonal structure has a certain accuracy. To consider the impact of soil-structure interaction, the horizontal displacements decrease with the foundation stiffness increasing, the shear forces that the infrastructure bears transfer to the first layer gradually. The flexibility of the entire multi-ribbed slab structure decreases with the foundation stiffness increasing. It is observed through computing example that the improved interaction-model is reasonable.A practicable simplified method for the global static analysis of multi-ribbed slab structures is thus presented.
