Abstract
This paper overviewed the studies of genetic diversity in maize from morphological,cytological and molecular levels,and summarized the applications of morphological markers,chromosome banding pattern markers,isozyme markers and DNA molecular markers on genetic diversity in maize.In order to better reveal the genetic diversity of maize and provide reference and basis for maize breeding,multiple marker methods should be combined selectivly.
