On the Influence of the Study of Confucian Classics on the Thought of Han Shu

Abstract

Han Shu was compiled under a strong atmosphere of the study of Confucian classics. The study of Confucian classics had profound influences on the thought of Han Shu. The influences are mainly showed in two aspectsremoulding the text of Shi Ji by the thought of the study of Confucian classics and judging the historic figures by the spirit of Da Ya.
