Abstract
The performance of activated carbon fiber(ACF) used as extraction fiber for solid phase microextraction(SPME) and its application for the determination of monobutyltin trichloride(MBT) in seawater were investigated by GC-MS.The influences of experimental factors,such as extraction temperature,ion strength and extraction time,on the SPME extraction efficiency were optimized.Under the optimal conditions,a good linear relationship was observed for MBT in the range of 0.1-100 μg/L with the limit of detection of 4.5 ng/L.The RSD for the determination of 100 μg/L of MBT was 8.6%(n=6).The method was applied in the determination of MBT in the seawater with satisfactory result.
