Abstract

Eighty-three patients with migraine(M17, F 66; age 40 ±s 9 a) with 119 migraine attacks were treated with sumatriptan 100 mg,po. Within 4 h, the effective rate was 76.5%, improvement rate 13.4%, with total response rate 89.9%.The remission rates of asociated nausea,vomiting,and photo/phonophobia were 94 %,96%,and 94%,respectively.Therefore,sumatrictan is safe and feasible for the treatment of migraine.
