Abstract

In the growth stage of winter wheat, photosynthetic rate, transpiration rate, stomata conductance and volumetric soil water content are measured for six different water treatments, and relationship among them and volumetric soil water content are analyzed. The results indicate that Tr,Pn and Gs lead increase or decrease synchronously.Analyses indicate a close linear correlation between them.Gs directly influences Tr and Pn and they have shown remarkable positive correlations.Furthermore, soil moisture indexes have extremely remarkably positive correlations with them. The ratio between Pn and Tr is equal to the leaf water use efficiency. The relationship between Pn/Tr and the soil moisture content were quadratic parabola. When the soil moisture content of winter wheat maintains at 60% of field moisture capacity, the photosynthesis use efficiency reaches the highest.
