Abstract

A modified fly ash adsorbent was prepared and applied for the removal of phosphate in water. Experimental results showed that the initial concentration, adsorption time, pH and particle size were the influence factors on the removal rate of phosphate. Under the optimum conditions, the removal rate could be more than 95%.
