Abstract

Chen Liang is not only the founder of Yongkang School,but also plays an important role in the foundation of Eastern Zhejiang School and its theories with his academic achievements and personal efforts.The utilitarianism initiated by Chen Liang boosted the economical development of Zhejiang in Southern Song Dynasty and promoted the formation and development of Using ideology in Qing Dynasty.It also provides reference value for the construction of today's moral system.
