Abstract
A traceable measuring method for dynamometer inertia weight is firstly presented,which is used in chassis dynamometer for the loaded-mode emission test of inuse vehicles.This method is compared with the one used in(BAR 97)(US standards),and the test results are analyzed.Some of shortcomings of BAR 97 are listed.The new test method can improve the accuracies of the loaded coast-down test of chassis dynamometer.
