Efficiency and Fairness in the Context of a Harmonious Society

The relationship between efficiency and fairness is not absolutely contradictive but unified dialectically by supplementing each other.Therefore,in choice of the principle of distribution,efficiency first,fairness first or consideration for both are not appropriate to be put forward or advocated,because these initiations cannot keep pace with the trend of construction of a harmonious society.The efforts should be made to achieve an organic unity between efficiency and fairness in the process of constructing a harmonious society.
