Abstract
Objective To broaden the experience of lung transplantation. Methods Twenty - nine canine left lung transplantation were studied. Fifteen of the donors'lung were preserved for 6h under 4℃ using Euro- Collings solution; 14 for 22~25h using UW solution. Allograft left lung transplantation was carried out and the right pulmonary artery was occluded to test the function of implanted left lung. Results All the dogs could live on with the left lung ventilation with a satisfactory gas exchange and the circulation was stable. Conclusion Even after 25h of preservation, the left lung graft still could be transplanted.
