Abstract
By conducting a series of plane strain compression tests on reinforced sand, the reinforcing effects of geo-grid reinforcement shape and rigidity were studied. It was found that increasing the contact area between geogrid reinforcement and sand could obviously pull up the compression strength of reinforced sand and the reinforcing effect of reinforcement covering area was much better than that of reinforcement rigidity for the geogrid reinforcement in the reinforced sand, and it is a reasonable reinforcing method to properly increase the reinforcement covering ratio under the same reinforcement consumption.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
