Implement MPLS in VxWorks

Abstract

MPLS(Multiprotocol Label Switching)is a popular network technology, which combines the advantage of lay 3 routing and lay 2 switching. And it is regarded as one of the core technologies of broadband IP network in the future. In this article the key technology of MPLS is discussed firstly. Then MPLS in VxWorks, which is a real time operating system is implemented. The key technolgoy that is implemented includes label forwarding, label distribution protocol and label management module etc.
