Abstract
Abstrcat Tolstoy regards the artistic authenticity as his motto of all his literary creation activities and takes it as a criterion to judge other writers' works. His creation practice and artistic views show that he is being true to life and has his unique insight and outstanding artistic skills, and that he is especially good at using spiritual dialectics and pays special attention to genuine feelings. Hence he manages to get the artistic authenticity required by realism.
