Abstract
An indoor sand culture pot experiment with Hoagland's solution was carried out to study the effect of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium deficiency and excess on the growth of cv.Suzhou.The results showed that different treatments all had effects on seed sprouting, plant height, root length, leaf number, leaf length, leaf width, aerial part and root fresh weight of cv.Suzhou.Phosphorus and potassium deficiency significantly reduced the seed sprouting of cv.Suzhou and the inhibition was the most significant in nitrogen excess condition.Except the root elongation with nitrogen deficiency treatment, plant morphological indexs were decreased with nitrogen deficiency, phosphorus deficiency and nitrogen excess treatment.aerial part fresh weight with phosphorus excess, potassium excess and whole nutrition treatments were significantly higher than the treatments such as nitrogen deficiency, phosphorus deficiency, potassium deficiency and nitrogen excess.Root fresh weight with nitrogen excess, phosphorus excess, potassium excess and whole nutrition treatments were significantly higher than the treatments such as nitrogen deficiency, phosphorus deficiency and potassium deficiency. The root fresh weight was not significant compared between nitrogen excess, phosphorus excess, potassium excess and whole nutrition treatments, and the root fresh weight was also not significant compared between nitrogen deficiency, phosphorus deficiency and potassium deficiency treatments.
