The Impact of Liability Insurance on Tort Liability

Abstract

Liability insurance has challenged the traditional theory of tort law.Besides undermining the effect of tort law on discouraging and punishing unwanted behavior,liability insurance has changed people's behaviors after tort.Having impacts on faults,damages and litigations,liability insurance has influenced the ultimate tort liability.
