Abstract
Using the hydrology data from 1952 to 1968 and from 1978 to 2002, considering flood control, ice defend and water resources, according to river dynamics, this paper analyzes characteristics of the floods, runoff and sediment, which show the sediment law of space-time. It discusses the impact of water conservancy on sediment in upper reach of Yellow river, and suggests the flood with small discharge and high water level should be focused.
