Abstract
The results showed that the phenotypic correlations were lower than genetic correlations. The yield per plant was highly significantly correlated with the number of fruit.r=0.848~(**);and significantly correlated with the yield of earlier stage,r=0.826~*.The results on genetic path analysis showed that the yield was directly affected by two agronomic traits, average fruit mass per plant and the number of fruits 0.993.Therefore,these two characters could be taken as selection criteria for high yield.
