Abstract

The pollution of perfluorinated compounds(PFCs) exist in environment worldwide with rapid increasing concentration, causing an extensive attention. The migration and conversion of PFCs depend on their environmental effects, which are the basis of risk evaluation for environment and human health. However, the current research on PFCs focuses mainly on analysis and detection in waters and organisms, the studies on ecotoxicological effects of PFCs are still in initial stage. In this paper, the status quo of PFCs research was introduced and the progresses in the respects such as distribution, bioaccumulation and ecotoxicological effects in the environment were summarized.Meanwhile, the impact of PFCs on human health was discussed. Finally the problems needed to be solved in this field in future are proposed.
