Protection and Utilization of Breed of Qingyang Donkey

Abstract
The history of breed formation and development,breed characteristics, productive performance and present situation of the Qingyang Donkey,a famous indigenous donkey breed in China,were introduced.Issues relevant to the development of donkey industry in Qingyang area were investigated and discussed.Some recommendations were proposed to protect this breed as well as facilitate its rational utilization in this article.
