Abstract
The optimal fertilizer rate for maize grown in fertile soil was studied by 3414 experimental design. The results showed that the recommended fertilizer rates of N,P2O5 and K were 3.79 kg,2.06 kg and 7.47 kg per 666.7m2 respectively for summer maize to obtain the yield of 650 kg per 666.7m2 in the soil with the organic matter of 1.5%,the alkaline hydrolysis nitrogen of 98.4 mg/kg and the available phosphorus of 40.5 mg/kg.At this fertilizer rate, the runoff amount of fertilizer and its contamination to underground water were decreased, but the fertilizer use efficiency was increased.
