An Analysis of Li Qingzhao's On Ci(Poetic Essay) and Its Composing Experience

Li Qingzhao was a masterof Ci(Poetic Essay) in the Song Dynasty,who had drawn the well-known conclusion is another school in her On Ci,in which Li required Ci-writing should strictly take accord with five criteria: rhythm,narration,quotation,affection and proof.The paper supposed that Li's Ci-writing criteria are relatively reasonable while her criticisms to her forbearers' Ci writing were too hard and unfair,and to some extent were incorrect,ever so shi herself had not followed the criteria to write Ci in her own sorts.
