Abstract

Five specimens of Rana longicrus were discovered in Guangdong Gutian Provincial Nature Reserve in October 2011,which are the first records of this species in Guangdong Province.Previously,R.longicrus was only found in western,central and northern Taiwan,China.This new record provides further information on the morphology and distribution range of this species.
