Abstract

Cooperative spectrum sensing is a key technology in cognitive radio(CR),whose performance depends on the reliability of local spectrum sensing result of cognitive nodes. However, there is a lack of considering it in current schemes. In this paper, the authors think that different cognitive nodes' SNR leads to different reliability of local sensing results. Therefore,a cooperative spectrum sensing algorithm based on SNR comparison in fusion center is proposed. Each CR node transmits local detection result and estimates SNR to fusion center in this algorithm, and then the SNR comparison is operated in fusion center. Finally, according to designed rule, the CR node with better SNR is selected to decision fusion.Numerical analysis and computer simulation suggest that the scheme greatly increases the probability of detection and reduces the node number to participate in decision fusion.
