Empirical Study of Factors Affecting Migrant Workers′ Training Demand

Abstract

According to the survey data of five cities including Shanghai,with the aid of logistic model,the main factors affecting migrant workers′ training demand are analyzed.The result indicates that migrant workers have no strong desire for training,and migrant workers′ demand of training are influenced by many factors such as age,marriage,educational background,income,industry,ownership system,length of service,labor contract and pricing of training.The government should take measures to promote training demand of migrant workers in practice.
