Abstract
Nunjiya is an ancient Mongolian folk song.The whole song adopts the commonly used national mode of pentatonic scale in Mongolian folk songs.It has the style of tender feeling,sadness and missing.The lyric uses the form of quatrain taking one line as one group.Mongolian people have put so much historical vicissitudes,the rise and fall,the victory or defeat into the music language of this popular folk song.
