Defending the Educational Competition in the Sociological Perspective

Abstract

Educational competition is misunderstood to some extends in theories and the practice.Educational competition is narrowly viewed as the competition of entering the higher grade.We tend to equal the criticism to the exam-oriented education with that to the educational competition,and set the competition against the cooperation.This article makes an analysis on the definition and features of educational competition in sociological perspective.It is stated that the educational competition is object.We should protect the proper educational competition to welcome the new multi-competition in the era of competition-cooperation.
