Abstract

The theories of new historicism are the product of culture in post-modern society,which began to prevail in the middle and late 1980s.New historicists are so involved in it because new historicism observes philosophy,history and culture from a literary and historical point of view.The theories itself bring forward some quite post-modern ideas which are worth considering seriously.
