On the affection tendency of Cao Tang’s poetries about immortals

Abstract
Cao Tang,one of most important poets in late Tang dynasty,was especially famous for poetries about immortals.At that time,Taoism had got great honors.Besides,the population of sexual techniques in Taoism and female’s the immortalization tendency urged Cao Tang’s poetries about immortals to display more obvious affection tendency,which was mainly manifested as follows: putting Taoism immortal words and love stories into poems,writing ordinary men and women’s affection by immortals,immortalizing Taoist priests and priestesses’ love original stories and so on.The affection tendency of Cao Tang’s poetry about immortals had unique value and significance in poetry history in ancient China.
