Abstract
Product family design platform for mass customization because of a wide variety lead to increased parts,the question of cost is difficult to control.This paper presents the shortcomings in the design of product family and proposes a new idea,which is design platform from the outset to consider the concept of mass customization.This product family can derive by itself and judge the merits of derivatives through the assessment mechanism.Product family designed to enable the program to achieve good cost control and coordination of customer satisfaction.Finally,the example of computer' main board is given to illustrate the feasibility of this design of product family.
