TREAT NEOVASCULAR GLAUCOMA WITH RETINA CRYOAUTERY AND CILIARY BODY CRYOAUTERY

Abstract

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effect of the retina cryoautery with ciliary body cryoautery against neovascular glaucoma.METHOD:12 eyes of neovascular glaucoma(fundus couldn't be seen clearly) treated by the retina cryoautery and ciliary body cryoautery were prospectively analysed.RESULTS:Postoperative neovascularization disappeared fully or partly in 1 week.In the follow-up examination of 3 months～2 year,8 eyes IOP were controlled in normal level.4 eyes NV recurred and IOP arise again.CONCLUSION:The retina cryoautery with ciliary body cryoautery against neovascular glaucoma is an effective treatment.
