Abstract

Based on the methods of literature review and kinescope data for study and through comparison and analysis of the code of points used in previous international rhythmic gymnastics competitions with the focus on the 2003 code of point, the author develops the trend in rhythmic gymnastics and points out that Chinese rhythmic gymnastics coaches and gymnasts should be familiar with and adapt to the new rules, keep up with the latest developmental trend in line with world sports, improve gymnasts' comprehensive ability and create novel routine actions.
