Abstract

Acoustic levitation at low frequency can be used for containerless material processing and particle transport. Experiments were imducted to analyze the effects of parameters such as the frequency and intensity of the acoustic field and the diameter of the levitated particles on the acoustic levitation. The results show that only contain low frequency intensities can levitate the particles. The acoustic field frequency affects the particle levitation position while the particle diameter affects the levitation stability.
