Meet in Love——A comparison between Benevolence in Confucianism and Love in Chistianity

Abstract

While Confucianism and Christianity play paramount roles in Oriental and Occidental cultures respectively, the central concept or soul of benevolence in the former and in the latter, though different in their origins, ways of actualization and concrete forms, share similarity in their concern and love for people.
